Lugoff Elgin High School Additions and Renovations|
Camden, SC

John Bowman Architect along with FW Architects, of Florence SC, provided design services to renovate and add new spaces to the existing Lugoff Elgin High School Facility. The interior renovations included cosmetic upgrades within the existing school. All renovated spaces received new paint, acoustical ceilings, new floor finishes, and re-programming of certain spaces.

In conjunction with the renovations to the existing school, the design team also provided design services to add a new auxiliary gymnasium that will house a new wellness center, men and women locker rooms, coaches office, and treatment rehab center. The design is situated with the new gymnasium as the anchor of the floor plan, with the support spaces located around the space. The exterior veneer is comprised of a traditional brick skin to blend with the existing context, standing seam metal roofs, and pre-cast monumental block.
